IntelliTrack for QuickBooks^® Desktop

IntelliTrack for QuickBooks Desktop enables data sharing of inventory, purchase orders, and sales orders between QuickBooks and IntelliTrack.

Important: IntelliTrack for QuickBooks Desktop works within the Plugin Host Utility. To use this utility, role of the logged-in user must include the IntegrateThis feature grants access to the Import/Export Utility and the Plugin Host Utility. It is available in edit mode and read-only mode. Access to this feature enables the Tools > Install Import/Export Utility option and the Install Import Export Utility page. This page contains the Import/Export Utility installer. It also enables the Tools > Install Plugin Host Utility option and the Plugin Host Utility page. This page contains the Plugin Host Utility installer. feature. You must install the Plugin Host Utility first. After the Plugin Host Utility is installed and running, you are able to log into it and activate the plugin.

Note: The order and inventory adjustments are only applied when the customers, vendors, and inventory items originate from QuickBooks.

Using IntelliTrack for QuickBooks Desktop requires:

• In IntelliTrack, the Role of the Logged-in user must include the Integrate featureThis feature grants access to the Import/Export Utility and the Plugin Host Utility. This page contains the Plugin Host Utility installer. and the IntelliTrack for QuickBooks Desktop featureThis feature grants full access to IntelliTrack for QuickBooks Desktop. When the role of the logged-in user contains this feature, the user is able to activate the plugin from the Plugin Host Utility and set up data sharing between QuickBooks Desktop and IntelliTrack..
• QuickBooks installed on the computer.
• The IntelliTrack Plugin Host installed on the computer, which includes IntelliTrack for QuickBooks Desktop and the IntelliTrack Host Plugin Service.

Before using IntelliTrack for QuickBooks Desktop, it is important to understand the data flow between QuickBooks and IntelliTrack and its capabilities in terms of inventory and order processing.

The Plugin imports the following data from your QuickBooks Company file into IntelliTrack:

• Inventory Part Items
• Units of Measure
• Inventory
• Customers
• Vendors
• Purchase Orders
• Sales Orders

After the dataset from QuickBooks is established in IntelliTrack, the Plugin facilitates the following data flow back and forth from IntelliTrack to QuickBooks:

• Inventory Adjustments: inventory adjustments from an inventory adjustment transaction and an inventory add transaction are exported from IntelliTrack to QuickBooks. When using the multiple sites feature, inventory moves between sites are exported.
• Receiving Orders: The Plugin will import Purchase Orders from QuickBooks to IntelliTrack as Receiving Orders and will export Receiving Orders from IntelliTrack to QuickBooks as Purchase Orders, including those originating in IntelliTrack. The originating orders in IntelliTrack must contain vendors and inventory part items that originated in QuickBooks in order to be included in the order export.
• Picking Orders: The Plugin will export Sales Orders from QuickBooks to IntelliTrack as Picking Orders and will import Picking Orders from IntelliTrack to QuickBooks as Sales Orders, including those originating in IntelliTrack. The orders originating in IntelliTrack must include the inventory part items and customers that originated in QuickBooks.
• Posting of Orders: Purchase Orders and Sales Orders posted to QuickBooks from IntelliTrack will create Item Receipts and Invoices for orders closed in IntelliTrack. Posting may be done either automatically or manually via the Plugin.
